Don’t Fall In Love With Writers

A word of advice
Don’t fall in love with writers
It’s very easy to fall in love with my kind
We make words dance in the air and they twist and turn at wave of our hand
They will enthrall you if you’re not careful
We make our sentences like ropes to thether you to our worlds
We can make palaces out of paragraphs and we can trap you in gilded cages
The same words that inspire you can be used to destroy everything you believe in
We can cut with lines
Sever with rhymes
We are tortured souls
Creating our own versions of reality because the real world is never enough for us
Fall in love if you must
But henceforth don’t say I didn’t try to stop you
You have been warned
